This is an Orange County Park. Small at only 71 acres, it is very nice. We had no trouble getting two choice lakefront sites
for a joint trip with our friends, Dave & Peggy Calicott. We did make reservations in advance by visiting the park in
person a couple of weeks before. It is located a few short miles from our home. It is just off of US 441 in Tangerine,
Florida (just east of Mt. Dora). There are 10 RV sites with electrical/water hookups, 5 RV sites with electic only,
1 group site that accommodates 50 campers that can be split into 5 sites. Set in a hammock of Magnolias and pines,
nestled on a peninsula between Lakes Beauclair and Carlton, it has a boat ramp, docks, a lovely lakeside picnic area and even
a nature trail. Note: This park was heavily populated with spiders. Care had to be taken walking through trails
and sites to avoid webs.

Our Campsite was right on Lake Carlton with a nice dock at our backdoor.

Dave and Peggy's campsite, next door. Plenty of shade here.
